Dark. Fierce and concentrated. Blackcherry, cough drops, molasses. Lifted by a significant hit of volatile acidity, but it all works. 2013 is a top-rate year in Cote de Nuits areas unaffected by hail. #moreysaintdenis #pinotnoir #burgundy

Deep aroma with black plum and woody earthy nuance. Extremely calm. Acidity gives my throat comfortable stimulation. Violet. Minerally. Salty. 2017 @1606(2200), Eva - XH, 200927-200930

A mossy forest floor with tart red berries and some iodine notes, mulberry with a tart juicy high acid finish. Funk envelopes it but blunts out some of the hiding red berry fruit.

As soon you put your nose in the glass you are taken to a farm. Soil, animal fur and cherries greet your nose. A wonderful mixture of red and black berries grab on to a wave of acid. IMHO an excellent bottle of wine to introduce newbies to the joy of Burgundy.

Encore un peu jeune pour cet année 2012... Mais passe très bien avec un pot au feu !
