Jan 8th, 2018Dead ringer for a northern Rhone Syrah. Maybe Cornas. Huge, but it carries itself with a delicate step. Saturated in white pepper. Big mineral driven acid cleansed finish.

1 person found it helpfulMay 9th, 2015Quality for price is not found here. That doesn't make it a bad wine, just over priced at $60. Raspberry and spice with floral notes on the nose. Tart red fruit and peppery tannins on the palate. I did enjoy this wine... If it was $35.

May 25th, 2018Not bad, but I expected more for the price. Odd combination of French red austerity and Australian Shiraz.

Apr 4th, 2018Reading reviews of other vintages I am sad to say it doesn't align. Perhaps we opened a couple years too early but it is flat and unimpressive. No spice or jam as other reviews state. Sorely disappointed. I would have almost called it a pinotage versus a Shiraz if I didn't see the label. Glad it was in a mystery case and not super pricey.
