Domaine Taupenot-Merme
Bourgogne Passetoutgrains Gamay Pinot Noir
Popped and poured; no formal notes. This is a rustic Passetoutgrains with funky dark fruits and earth the predominant characteristics. There is good structure and it works really nicely with lamb merguez for lunch. Charming.

#gamay #pinotnoir #passetoutgrain #bourgogne I bought this in Paris 13,15€ and I think it's great. It seems like a perfect blend between Morgon and Côte de Nuits. The aromas change constantly. Clear spicy notes of fennel, raspberries and pepper.

Oct 13th, 2024French counterpart to last week's Eveningland. This one, as expected is much earthier, more acidic, and more austere. Notes of fresh-picked Bing cherries, wet chalk and clay,

Jul 20th, 2021Juicy black cherry. Nice minerality. Highish acidity. Maybe a bit ripe/boozy if I’m being picky but that improves with some air. Rock solid for $20. Edit: Dead on day 2 deducted a point.
