I like this a lot more than the 2016. Intense and powerful, yet still light bodied and evenly balanced. Bright cherries, forest floor, a touch of blueberries. Smells like after an April rain.

Color was dark ruby. Nose was earthy. Flavor profile was muscular BlackBerry with some leather and tanins, but stopping short of spice or pepper. Good for that style of extracted Pinot Noir, but *not* a rounded lingering cherry approach. 2015 in 2019.

A stand out old-world style from OR. Develops nicely over a 30 minute decant. Bright fruit in the nose with some herbs. Medium body. Velvety with a dry finish.

@GaryWEdwards this could be worthy of a small spot in the cellar
