Really nice for a basic Pouilly-Fuisse, and a great value. With a little air, the nose shows lifted, bright peach and orchard fruit, some of that nice wet straw and limestoney notes you want in a Maconnais white. Balanced in the mouth, with nicely gauged fruit, acids, and stoney notes. Not the deepest or longest, but nicely done. I’ve been very impressed with this producer.

A few weeks ago I popped one of these and the reduction was a problem, this time I decanted and it is singing! So lively and intense, it's an attention grabber and beautifully generous with its orchard fruit, verbena and kiss of vanilla on the finish. All harmony and sunshine here. This is incredibly fun to drink and certainly will improve over the next few years. Need to try more from this producer!
