The 2014 Roulot Vireuils was slightly advanced, not willing to say premoxed but certainly without the freshness, purity and laser like acidity of the vintage. The table still enjoyed it as did I, but it just tasted like something different than it actually was.

A whiff is sulfur and bright lemon. Noticeable oak but carried well in the body. Good heft and zip with a touch of ginger and spice.

Jul 4th, 2020From the great Jean Marc Roulot. Good precision and elegance, white flowers, stony minerals, hints of tropical fruits and vibrant acidity. Finishes with good length. Solid, but something missing here. Perhaps more time required to shine.
