Betydligt slankare 17. Svala rena bär, apelsinskal, mineral, svart te. Vissa gröna stick. Lite dov nu men det här kommer nog klara hållning och fräschör längre än andra 17.

Light bricking and mouth feel made me think pre-2010. Started off with sweet Asian spices, leading me to think VR. Quite cool on the nose, but rather ungiving and has a metallic quality to it that I often find in 08s. More red fruit, but difficult to pinpoint which fruit.... perhaps cherries and raspberries. Had difficulty discerning if this was a VR or GC but as time passed, the earthiness suggested the latter. Couldn't find the high acidity that most people identify with 08s. Not sure how I feel about this vintage. Nevertheless, it had the structure and balance of a grand cru. Avoid the 08s or let it sleep for a few more years.
