Domaine Rémi Jobard
En Luraule Meursault Chardonnay

I wasted this! It's not even close to showing its true beauty. Give it 4 more years, at least, and don't worry about premox with Jobard. This laser beam of acidity was better the second day open, truly a sexy beautiful wine that I wish I had kept longer. Apples, white flowers, lots of citrus underpinning everything with a massive streak of minerality through it all.

Lovely, but much less reduction than another one of Jobard’s 18s I had earlier this year (I was hoping for more of that reductive streak). Wasn’t as good on day 2 so I think these should be consumed over the next 5 years or so.

Organic. More pear & apple vs butter & vanilla, but present. Almond and crushed stone. Creamy tension. Pure pleasure.
