Great lunch at terminus in watou. Selosse outstanding. Paul Pillot La Romanee this is the first bottle I have ever drink from this estate, perfect nicely integrated wood, high mineraility succulent wine. 2008 La Landonne, for a major disappointment, chemical, grassy. 2018 echezeaux well made, you drink cherries. Overall outstanding for a simple Sunday lunch. By the way the food and hospitality were excellent.

Delicious. Balanced and focused, fresh apple and apricot and with limestone. Stay safe outside.

An ex cellar bottle that was rich with honey , orange , and exotic notes with good acidity to keep the wine focused . A nice bottle .

2011 La Romanee : cracking good drink. Great tension from attack to farewell, vg mid palate intensity, ever so slightly broad shouldered, delicious minerality, richness in a la Perla corset, beautifully framed. This is why you buy from the top of the hill : la Romanee, les grands ruchottes et en Cailleret. Beautiful 1er Cru, Grand Cru power, just lacks ever so slightly Grand Cru complexity. 93/100
