probably a bit too soon for this. Salinity and a bit of black pepper. Powerful dark fruit and compact floral and stone notes. Great intensity but could probably do with some time to settle. Still elegant despite its youth this will likely be fantastic in a decade or so. Wonderful material here.

Reddish tawny and barely translucent. Notes of cherries, rhubarb, dark soil and a little menthol. Some sois bois. This was more impactful right after opening, then with a few hours of air the fruit faded. Nicely concentrated. Good balance of fruit and structure.

Breathtaking. Simply put. In a beautiful spot but not a hint of fatigue. Another 15-20 years easily.

Pretty much perfect. This wine is amazing, fresh, young, powerful, incredible acid.

Rich, concentrated, way too young. Dark cherries, a bit of menthol, sweet oak. Would love to revisit in 10 years time, but sadly, most likely won’t have the opportunity

With a two hour slow ox (the wine needed at least four) the nose was offset by the overpowering fruit on the mouth. A slightly astringent finish that took 1-2 hours to dissipate

Perfect. Still young but starting to really sing the blues.
