Quite nice in 2012. Side by side with the 2008.

Meo Camuzet Vougeot 2012. Final R&D for today. Tasting 20 hours after opened. I don't know my Vougeot enough. Pretty wound up still. But it is elegant and balanced.

Dark rubi robe with some transparency. Very reticent nose of dark fruits, blackcurrant. Big bodied, masculine, dense, top soil and saline, very very long in the mouth. Gotta be the best Clos Vougeot we had in so many years. It’s very approachable now but its probably better to keep it another 6 or 7 years. At year 20 will be a royal experience.
