Corton-Renardes Grand Cru Pinot Noir

Red bright fruit balanced from the opening…so lovely.

Magnum, young but over the evening became sweet and smooth.

I really like the lean and mineral driven style of the Delarche 90, not overripe or overdone, I'm keeping my last bottle;)

Hmmm. Debate over whether this is corked or just it's own funky self

Getting into red Burgundy and started with this bottle. Opened last night and decanted about 4pm. While still young, has real potential for aging and depth. Red fruit and dried herbs.

A far cry from my usual diet of volnay and chambolle. Big wine. Cherry, licorice, leather. A bit short at first but opened beautifully in the glass. Beautiful with beef and mushrooms. This has 10-20 years left in it easily.

Okay Pinot. Expected much more. Medium body, a slight mineral, earth edge. limited complexity.

Better than even I expected. Treat yourself!

Wonderful full cherry

smooth and intense dark fruit flavor along with fine spice, light tannin, earthiness, and mushroom. Much more rounded fruity than regular Bourgogne rouge
