Vieilles Vignes Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir

So very good and well balanced.

Not much fruit left. Opened well but died over time. Some secondary flavors such as faint dried cherry and mushroom.

Great but wound up! See you in 10.

Dusty earth, roasted mushrooms, tart cherries and cranberries, and well integrated tannin.

Amazing old vines from Gevrey-Chambertin! White pepper and Spring earth scents. Juicy entry of red raspberry and dried cherries. Balanced mouth feel and good tannins. Persimmon lingering finish leaving you yearning for more.

Fruity and elegant with a food-friendly savory grip.

Beautiful aromatics on the nose. Bright red cherry and cranberry fruit, clean minerality, with an underlying earthiness on the palate. Very good balance of fruit/acidity with supple tannins for a young wine. This wine needs some time to open up but showing very elegantly now.

'Fruit is 100% destemmed and slightly crushed before transferred into stainless steel tank. The punching of the cap is done twice a day BY FOOT. The wine is then aged in French oak barrel (70% new) for 12 months.

Light meaty and spicy raspberry and redcurrant.

My happy place. Plush with soft tannins, warm ripe strawberries and faint baking spice.
