Pale lemon with fresh fruit aromas of stone and citrus fruits with some floral nutty notes. On the palate flavors of apple, lime citrus and pear, crisp acidity, with honeysuckle notes. Medium+ finish, notes of creamy vanilla ending with smoky and flinty citrus mineral earthy spice character.

Great value. Reduced at first, then giving way to baking spices, baked apple, peaches. Medium bodied, would not keep it longer (2016 drunk in 2021), might have been ecen better a year ago.

Tasted double-blind. Unmistakably Chardonnay but I was all about this being Chablis with bright citrus fruit, gorgeous minerals and racy acidity. What a pleasant surprise!! Even more impressive is how well this showed coming off the heels of the Montille Corton just before. I need more of this in my life.

Beautiful! Touch of flint/reduction when first poured. Asia pear, wood spice, marzipan, wood wax. Generous mouthfeel but then a focused finish of a balance of acid, phenolic tightness and mineral. A long finish.

Tasted 54 weeks ago and also in June 2019 with similar notes. Very new world in this warm 2015 vintage. Peach and pineapple with some creaminess. Good QPR from one of the top names in White Burgundy.

An absolutely gorgeous wine for summer. Bright, crisp and focused with lemon zest, salty minerals and hints of dried floral. Shows wonderful purity and freshness all the way through the mineral-laced finish.

What Chardonnay wants to be. It’s Chardonnay on a great hair day.

Pale gold in colour. Stone fruit and citrus with stone fruit in the ascendant. Could be new world. Medium intensity - great balance with good minerality and excellent QPR for $50. Macon - poor mans White Burgundy from one of its best producers in Leflaive who produce all cuvees from Macon up to the fabled and expensive Le Montrachet. The more one drinks this the more one is impressed. Tasted again 26 weeks later on 6th June 2019. Notes as above with a big influx of pineapple juice. Quite new world in style.

Crisp, beautifully aromatic and perfectly balanced citrus with hints of tropical fruit. So nicely made.

Apple, flowers and salinity. Was good with Oysters and not as lush as Leflaive usually shows.
