Hint of a whiff of raspberry

Very light, in body and in flavor. Raspberries, gravel, a bit of anise and oregano. A few Ice cubes and this is ready for the 100 degree day today..

Sipping Fine Wine

A Grenache based wine, medium Ruby with aromas of dark fruits and herb spice. On the palate simple dark berry flavors with toasty herb notes. Medium finish, gritty tannins ending with fruit and spice. Just ok!

Plush, round, and dusty. Good showing from both grapes — the Grenache brings some strawberry and raspberry flavors, the Syrah brings the darker fruits. Well balanced with established terroir. No complaints. A solid example of the style. Nothing intriguing but no fouls either.

About as polished and rewarding at this price point a V can get. Simply terrific!

If the cellar holds more....Drink Up.

Deep magenta hues.

A wave of tobacco soaked cinnamon scent on the nose.

Forward kick of black pepper spice, culminating in a dark cherry mid palate, and ending with a welcome coupling of plum and star anise.

Its good. It’s fruity. It’s spicy. It’s dry. It’s not focused.

Very dry. Does not linger on tounge at all. Good mouthfeel. $18 a bottle at total wine. Dark fruit and baking spices
