The taste of wet pine wood and earth... Also very strong liquorice. Brought up a memory of summer Provence :)

Dark Baking Spices, Anise, Dark Cherry and hints of tobacco. Chocolate,Smooth tannins and balanced acid makes for a great food wine but works on its own after you open it for an hour. Vintage 2012.

Reminds me of the Guigal CdR, which has been a house pour of mine for years. A bit more complex and structured. Typical Northern Rhone producer's take on the Southern Rhone? If so, I like it.

I could get into this. An interesting funk on the nose. Nice bramble black fruit with strong structure and a lengthy finish

Very nice wine. Strawberry, 'meaty', rocky mineral, spice, a bit o' leather & fine tannins... Good, food friendly & a good value wine.

After a great recommendation by @apacelli3 of a #SaintJoseph by Jean-Louis Chave, I decided to try this #CôtesduRhône by the same négociant. This is some very good wine, I'll definitely be looking for more of his selections. #Rhône #wine

Perfume and raspberries on the nose. Slightest hint of game and some candy on the finish. Luscious mouthfeel. The 2012 is still tight and could go for another decade in the cellar.
