A new one to me. Nose is very generous with blackberry, blackberry liqueur, spice, flowers and more. Really giving and generous. But under all those flowers and blackberry is a firm background of granite. Palate is terrific. Young, grapey and fresh with nice finesse and terrific olive and game flavors. Very savory. Very fresh but finishes so stoney and granitic. Really a very pretty nose. Blueberry now coming through. So sappy and fresh. Needs to open but this is wonderful. So juicy and just teeming with energy and so much olive and game. One of the most savory Cornas I have ever had and really approachable. Wow with air the nose became elite. Flowers and spice galore. Olive. Wild mint. So fragrant. Unreal. 9.8 nose out of nowhere. Crazy granite. What a perfume. Palate is ultra sleek, concentrated and super pure. Fresh, dense, alive and explosive. Really great stuff here. This is a 9.7 and one of the greatest new Cornas I have tasted.

Decanted an hour. Lots of sediment. Beautiful nose. Sweet violets. Olives. Blackberries. Balanced and at peak, should hold here for a few years but I don’t see it getting better.

Just pulled this off the shelf in the cellar. Don’t even remember buying it. Meant to pull another Cornas. With it being on the younger side I was afraid it wouldn’t really show well. Wrong. Initially hit with some black olives but as it opened up black cherry started to appear. Smoky but not overwhelming. Tons of sediment and kinda bummed I didn’t put it through some cheese cloth. Very nice and would definitely buy more.
