Second successive bottle that showed poorly (prior was 1993) - corked 🤦🏻‍♂️

Quite reticent on the nose. Opens up over time. Light bodied and fresh. Grippy blue fruit and minerality. A hint of iron. Quite steely fruit and a decent finish

A very nice 2004 with plenty of NSG iron, spicy, floral aromatics and an elusive, lifted, refreshing, moreish finish. A special, engaging Wednesday night bottle that went well with mushroom ravioli.

Classic 01 with black and blue fruits earth , tea and spice with a touch of tca.

Out to kill

Gougie iron pulling back and elegant spice taking over. Earthy, savory long finish.

Loved this. Elegant almost feminine wine. Luscious sweet cherry on the nose. Everything in balance.

Allen Meadows says 94/100. A bit generous me thinks. Weighty. @Stephen Osgood you mad or naw?
