Superb per usual.

Great sushi wine! Crunch red cherry. Youthful but fruit forward. Very nice.

So pretty. Ready to drink.

Mallard

A lot of 2008 acidity but brings out high-toned prettiness on the nose. Hoping the fruit richens a little in the future to balance out.

Very pretty and floral, with some slight earthiness below. More open than expected. Essence of Chambolle and excellent village wine.

I love the Barthod style but one fellow taster observed that this lacked some Chambolle tipicity. Indeed the animale notes were aggressive. But what great energy and complexity.
