Delicate in appearance and silky on the palate but still beefy and rustic.

Matchstick, flint, tight, candied, tart cherry and a touch of sweet vanilla & smoke. Lean entry but expansive with tannin and finish.

From a small mix of parcels below Chambolle & Gilly les Citeaux (near his Bourgogne Blanc parcel). Wine is made for the pickers--the little leftover went to Japan & Italy, but 2011 is first vintage that came to US. Highly recommended
