Just fine but not great red burgundy. If this is the outcome with other bottles in the cellar, perhaps I should be selling more of my old burgundies 😜
Medium, opaque ruby. Nose of vibrant pie and black cherry. Palate shows some unresolved tannins, and balanced but higher acid. The character of tannin was slightly green/drying, possible stem inclusion?
Paired with grilled steaks and a pretty good match for that. Not as complex as I might have hoped.

Last vintage is probably 2015 as parcel was exchanged as part of Dufouleur Musigny purchase.

2010 Faiveley NSG Vignerondes - really beautiful nose, More Vosne than Nuits. Very floral and elegant. Palate slightly short, but the nose did it for me.

2009 vintage: delicate in style with aromatics of black cherry, cranberry and subtle strawberry. Fresh thyme, cinnamon, nutmeg. Lean and quick on the pallet. Brett earthy character increases as the wine opens up and finish expressed as mineral and acid. Pretty wine.

2009 vintage. Rustic flavors of savory red fruits with an underwhelming structure and finish. Disappointing for its vintage and pedigree.

Light in color and body for a 2009. Rustic red fruits with good minerality and a light, medium length finish. A bit disappointing for a 1er Cru from a great vintage.

A good match for our medium-rare burgers on the grill tonight. A happy Hump Day!

2006. Lovely drink w/ the Masters & lunch. Classic NSG. Spice, fruit & acid.

Sweet fruit. Surprising bricking on the rim, but doesn't taste advanced. Dripping with cola and black cherry juice. Fully open for business. Probably will improve with time, but nice and perky today.
