Gorgeous plush plum, violet, a hint of lavender, some roses and red cherry. Pure, lifted and sexy. Wow

Gorgeous stuff. Broad pretty red fruit. Cherry, floral notes. Haunting and gorgeous. Perfectly resolved. Subtle yet intense. Just where you want it. A wow wine tonight.

Brownish tawny color, a bit murky. High pitched nose. Notes of bing cherry, sweet menthol, moist dark soil and some green tea. Tannins fully resolved as the sweet fruit stands above the structure. Medium plus finish. Showing pretty well. Doubt it gets a whole lot better from here so likely in a good spot to and I’ll drink these up over the next 5 years.

Dark tawny. A nose that puts a smile on your face. Sandalwood, ripe bing cherries, dark moist earth, lots of spice and some rhubarb. Velvet touch as it coats the mouth. In a great spot. Sadly my only bottle of this.

Gotta make up for lost time 😉. A bit green and herbal at first, as expected with ‘04. But blows off after sufficient air.

The 3rd of 4 Grand Crus from Morey Saint Denis. Some tasters were good enough to identify the 2 Dujac Wines as numbers 2 and 3. Not as mouth filling or powerful as the Clos de la Roche but still rich wonderful and detailed covering fleshy fruits and earthy notes with a herbal nuance.

Tasted blind. Bright tawny, mostly translucent. Gorgeous nose. Intense and high pitched. Notes of raspberries, tan spices, some soil and sous bois. Chewy and fruit forward in the mouth. With air it gains amazing complexity. Layers of fruit. Lip smacking. Guessed 88 Rousseau. Killer juice.

Talk about stem. Dark. Intense and full of crunch. Still a baby.
