Family owned and operated since 1850, passing down expertise from one generation to another. Today run by Marie-Eve Léger, who joined parents Agnes and Bernard in 2009 after completing her degree. 100% Chardonnay, pale lemon with aromas of ripe stone fruits with biscuit notes. Palate shows apple and peach flavors, vivid acidity, well balanced. Medium+ finish ending with yeasty character. Very Nice!

Magnum, second day open. Plush and smooth. Surprisingly ripe, almost tropical. Old world and new world meet on the palate.

Nice round mouthfeel, med acid, lots of lees contact, citrus and poached pear/Apple.

Barnyard nose that opens into citrus, with orange blossom, lemon juice, & lots of tart tree fruit. Ripe Bartlett pear & acid play a big role on the long finish. Well worth the $15-18, enjoyable!

Very pale lemon colour, citrus, dusty minerals and floral nose, medium acidity, dry with flavours of lemon, pear and a hint of almond on the finish. Lovely, paired with a simple pea and basil pesto pasta.

I fell in love with Saint-Veran when I was living in France and I learned it was very close to Pouilly-Fuisse, but less expensive. It has been a while since I’ve had one, but this bottle reminds me of why I like it. Citrusy with the slightest taste of a ripe pear, it goes down so easily.
