I fell in love with Saint-Veran when I was living in France and I learned it was very close to Pouilly-Fuisse, but less expensive. It has been a while since I’ve had one, but this bottle reminds me of why I like it. Citrusy with the slightest taste of a ripe pear, it goes down so easily. — 8 years ago

A well regarded Chablis producer makes Chardonnay in the Languedoc. It has the mineral and citrus qualities I like in Chablis, but with more roundness and notes of woody oak and caramel. — 7 years ago
Sometimes I love Chenin and sometimes not. This is in the former category. The aromatic nose whiffs of apple, honey, citrus and funk. On the palate, it’s rich with a mineral tang. — 8 years ago

Smells and tastes like citrus, river rock and gooseberry. Good value and all too easy to drink. — 7 years ago
