I fell in love with Saint-Veran when I was living in France and I learned it was very close to Pouilly-Fuisse, but less expensive. It has been a while since I’ve had one, but this bottle reminds me of why I like it. Citrusy with the slightest taste of a ripe pear, it goes down so easily.

Really enjoyable with our Caesar Salad. Super leesy medium to medium low acid but worked well with food. Citrus notes poached apple and pears.

Nice light gold color. Bright fruit mixed with a hint of petrol on the nose. In good shape, just not very interesting. A crowd pleaser, but was hoping for a bit more.
