Meursault-Charmes 1er Cru Chardonnay

Stunner. Mature white burg at its finest from 02 Charmes, still incredibly youthful and vibrant with captivating aromatics of spiced orchard fruit, toasted hazelnuts and butterscotch that comes in waves, and the palate is expansive, textural and stunningly complex, both rich and refined with a silky, crystalline and mineral finish. Amazing wine.

Lemon oil, a touch of tangerine, clear pure fruit. Poised.

Great wine. Still plenty of backbone left in this one.

Very glycerol and fruit forward. Acidity builds over time. Expansive in the mouth. Not sad I opened this.

Good, not the greatest showing but a nice wine.

Oxydé... oxydatif... on aurait dit la jura

Kellogg's Special K frosty cereal, sweet corn, yeasty and nutty. Compared to the Boisson Vadot, there is density and richness, but I suppose the age to this wine is a factor as well. A very different kind of Meursault.

Good but lacking in acidity and a little faded. What was there though was of the highest quality. Drink up I’d say
