Just had a glass with dessert. A sweet white, ripe apple, apricot, absolutely gorgeous. Very fresh for 19 years of age. Loire Chenin Blanc - either sweet or dry, I need to increase my tastings, education and experience.

Medium yellow. Beeswax, musk, chamomile, curry spices, white pepper, chalky minerality, golden raisin, petrol, yellow fig, yellow peach, fresh and dried apricot, bruised apple, and honey. High focused acidity, sweet/med sweet, medium+ length. 12.5%

Marmalade orange. Tangy fruit, with intense apricot, floral notes. Bracing and pure acidity with incredible length.

Whoa. Never had a wine like this. Chenin Blanc that has turned very dessert like/sweet. The nose on this is fantastic! Honeyed pear, orange marmalade, and something similar to bananas foster. Palate has become viscous but still retains acidity. Shows some overripe pineapple alongside toasted almonds and marzipan. Incredibly unique and complex. Very cool bottle @Mark Flesher .

Layered and complex offering an array of flavours, with dried pineapple and mango, botrytis spice, marzipan and chalky mineral, and balanced to near perfection by brisk acidity. Will easily cruise another 30 years.
