@Delectable Wine - this is NOT the Cent pour Cent cuvée. It is the regular IGP Merlot.

Great and funky nose shows a fair amount of barnyard leading a caravan of plush dark cherry and ripe red berry fruit. Bit of sweet spice too. On the palate, it’s got kids of gravelly earth and dark berry ooze, and the texture shows lots of soft but unobtrusive tannin. Nice balance. An astounding value.

This no-sulfur-added Merlot is a ridiculous value. The essence of pure Merlot on the nose: ripe, lightly spiced crushed plum, along with some dry gravelly notes. Pure and high-toned in the mouth, with still a bit of tannin and tightness to shed. This is so good now and will be better in 12 months.

Nothing says V-day like making biscuits and drinking Merlot! This is a lovely one good for drinking young. You gotta decant. My bestie detected a whiff of nail polish. The acidity, volatile or not, is high and the plums are rich. Now to put some blackberry jam on the biscuits: perfect pairing!

Dry, slight earthy undertone, blackberry, blueberry...no new oak, chocolate..Mod smooth tannins, mod acid.

Better described as a merlot/ cabernet franc blend. Delicious, and made without sulfur.

What an amazing blend! This is a strong, funky wine that slaps you right in the face! Bright purple/magenta, sediment, lots of viscosity, powerful nose sees ripe cherries, oak, vanilla, cured meats, palette sees bright ripe cherries, lots of acid, medium+ tannins, high alcohol finish. This is an extreme, untamed, wild wine in every sense. Enjoyable, invigorating!
