2005 vintage: gobsmackingly good! I've never been a big Vougeraie fan ....until now. Superb cx bouquet of dark red fruits, lovely undernote of sous bois and menthol; plush vibrant attack, lovely intensity. Really generously flavoured with real tension to keep the dark red berry flavours up on their toes, all the way until the long finish eventually ends. Beautiful wine. Bravo!

2915 Probably too young today, open for 2 hrs before drinking in decanter, light red in color, transparent, hint of strawberry, cherry, mild earthy on initial taste, light tobacco, licorice on finish. I think it will be bigger and more earthy in 5-10 yrs

Dark red. Funky, earthy nose. Dark cherry, pie spices. Minerals. Tannins in check. Very appealing. Fairly big with long finish. With pan sauté steelhead over French lentils. Needs decanting.
