Plum and strawberry with acid and plenty of structure. Long sensuous finish. Me wants more. A mega hit at Crab and Fin in St Armand’s Circle on Randy’s Birthday weekend. — 6 years ago
Very disappointing. Cos is my go to St Estephe. Cork was in tact but the fruit was completely gone. Would have thought the 2000 would still be delivering. :( — 2 years ago

Maturing beautifully with plenty of fruit and tannins. Cocoa tobacco? Perfect pairing with duck leg confit and huckleberry. (Birthday at Frances in SF) — 5 years ago
I was expecting more from 2000 yet delivered lovely layers of fruit with balancing tannins. — 2 years ago

Some tasting notes suggests that '83 has decades of life ahead of it. This bottle was clearly at its peak on Feb 1, 2022. Rounded and refined. Cherries and soft tannins.

Do I dare claim the peak day (08), month (12) and year (2018) of this extraordinary 2000! Simply sublime. Round and full of fruit with complementing tannins that make you keep coming back. Hats off to you Madam Corison. Befitting a 70th celebratory birthday; elegant and noble in its maturity. — 6 years ago

Near perfection. Full of fruit and tannins. BlackBerry and tobacco. Like a leather slipper with a soft patina. — a year ago
