Rich, but with mouth tingling acid and tons of exotic citrus. Some pine and pine-sol on the nose. Body is a little gras but that’s the vintage.

Dried clover, caramel, golden raisins, all perched on a scimitar of acid. A faint echo of sweetness but mostly chiseled, dry and tart. Florals details that seem etched in stone

This is 🔥🔥🔥. Lots of extraction and that extra acidity. Rich, but not round; young but already delicious. And made by one of the greatest mustaches in the Loire. (would be THE greatest is not for stiff competition from Jo Landron) Get you some of this.

I've not tasted too many Chenins as good as this one. How did I not know about this producer?

Young as heck. Will be great one day. Must buy more.

Amazing Chenin. Jacky Blot has produced one of its most balanced wine there. Just perfect with scallops or a ceviche.

Nice, but a little too lean. Needed some weight to give it some balance. But a solid oyster wine

accidentally left open on counter 48 hrs plus….no stopper. This thing goes for miles and miles, deep, pungent, astral canyons and glazed smoke…hits the back of the tongue and then lacerates the soul. get what you can and lay it down and toss the key…await grandchildren.
