Côte de Caillot Arbois Pupillin Chardonnay

Really fantastic. After tasting I read the rating from wine advocate, which called this Burgundian. I agree.

Fruity, oak, citrus

A little bit of funky Jura, but good

Wow! Nose of over ripened grapes - raisins baking in the sun - but a lighter, more acidic mouth feel than the nose would imply. Assumed it's be a mouth full of syrup. Oxidized and funky. Pushing my boundaries

Yogurt bomb.

A little oxidation and ripe fruit for personality, but crisp enough to quench on a 90 degree night.

Ripe apple & peach with some honeysuckle and matchstick reduction. A bit more linear and precise than the '13. Still delicious.

Very tiny oxidation. Peachy fruits.

Perfect combo of ripe peach & pear with a touch of lemon & hazelnut and a dollop of honey. With a delicious salty twist at the end.
Pass on the escargots!
