Living high on the hog with tartufo bianco and Dom Chev Blanc! Cinnamon prepared a lovely risotto and decanted this an hour ahead- always a good call with top drawer white Bordeaux. This rich, generous bottle had honeyed Semillon flavor and texture, and seemed to get more focussed as the evening went on.

Lemon gold . Nice waxy , lanolin nose , touch toasty still . On the palate quite rich and mostly yellow fruits , high acidity that really balances that richness. Long and slightly toasty coconut tinged finish, very well balanced and surprisingly young , no premox. Based on this magnum this can be enjoyed from now and over the next 10 years or so .

Decanted ~3 hours. All about elegance and subtlety. Subdued aromatics. Lemon, melon, jasmine, candied ginger, some background toasty/sweet hazelnut but not overtly oaky. Waxy texture but not heavy.
