Domaine Billaud-Simon
Chablis Chardonnay

Boys weekend in Detroit.
A very lifted expression of burgundy. So much focus and separation on the mid palate. Waxy lemons define the texture on the palate, which then combine with white fruits. Superb length on the finish. Moderate acidity and delicate sweetness bring home a wonderful experience from start to finish.
Even better on day two.

What a lifted expression of a chard this is.
Nose doesn’t reveal too much, but there’s a hint of white flowers. Mid palate is all about honeysuckle with baking spices and baked apples. A cut grass note comes along for the ride. Pristine, squeaky clean, ethereal finish. Burgundy at its finest. Food would spoil the enjoyment of this example.

Bright lemon color with aromas of citrus, stone fruits, biscuit and floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and lemon citrus with notes of vanilla and garden spice. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity ending with vanilla and flinty mineral spice. Nice!

Delicious quality appellation Chablis. Lemon cream and oyster shell, still has a few more years of freshness ahead.
