Les Ouzeloy Marsannay Pinot Noir

On the earthy side. Complex layers, very delicious. Nice structure and long finish. Cote de Nuits/Burgundy. $30 well worth it.

Cinnamon turned our Dijon chicken leftovers into a spectacular pasta dish and we paired this powerful, rich, aromatic Burgundy with it. I love Bart and this is the first time we have offered his Ouzeloy.

On deck for roasted chicken and vegetables. High tone red fruit, zippy acidity, and a clean finish.

Dark and supple. Really solid for $30

A good entry to discover typical Bourgogne wines. It needs to be decanted 2-3 hours to give the best of itself. Flavors of raspberry red fruit acidulous. both generous and nicely tingling on acidity. a wine to accompany meat dishes in potato sauce and other rustic meals.

Very typ cherry earth rose garden funk dry spice nose, the fruit is more forward than the rest of their mars line up and the grip on the tannins is dense, on par w the solomon and punching way above it's price class. Stock up

After plenty of air the tartness softens into lovely cherry, cranberry and citrus with a bit of that characteristic Burgundy earth. Drinks fantastic for $28

So exuberant and fresh it's hard to judge. Once it settles down, it should be excellent. Roty's wine from this lieu-dit is premier cru quality, and I suspect Bart's will be too.

Dipping my feet in to burgundy. Currants and a hint of barnyard with dash of mineralogy. not bad. Lots of Dijon mustard on my plate.
