tobacco, ripe raspberry, ripe cherry, ethereal palate- really flavorful yet so light across the tongue. medium tannins start early, medium + acid.

Liked this quite a bit more 3 months later. Settled in. This is delicious now but deserves time in the bottle. Unity.

It starts quite delicate, red berries and few oriental spices, but it opened up on a more oaky side. Not superlong, but not disappointing altogether being only a generic Chambolle village
4th bottle of the Burgundy Course

Good form. Much, much better on the first night, to my surprise.

Twelth Night. Ripe. Young. Broad. Ripe, simple flavors follow through. Bit coarse.

Reductive nose made it hard to assess this wine completely on the first tasting, but it was already showing great complexity and structure. Second night offered more length and depth- floral aromas, bright raspberry, stony minerality and slow-building tannins that expand all over the palate. Intense soil and earth character with pungent spice. Excellent village Chambolle from a superb vintage.

Bought after my trip to burgundy in 2011. Lean pure and delightful. Not a whole lot to it and could've used a few more years but lovely with dinner. Wouldn't pay $60 + again but glad I had it

Little less oak interaction than years past, definitely in a good way, showcasing the vintage & purity of fruit, solid wine.
