Alsace AOC Riesling

Green Apple, peach and wet stone. M+ acid, M body and intensity. Lemon and minerality on the palate. The finish is short.

Give this a second to breathe. You can tell its Alsace right away. Loads of gun flint, lit match and wet stone. Almost nearly devoid of fruit on the nose and palate, but a bit of lime comes through on the finish. Not as tight or austere as I would expect for a '14, but wish there was a bit more fruit. Very dry and M+ acid. Food is recommended.

Fruity with bright acidity. Reasonable for the price.

Great summer wine. Citrusy, floral nose and mineral, refreshing finish. Delicious.

I can't not like Riesling from Alsace. Bit sweeter than I anticipated, went great with Asian noodles. Little too easy drinking. #alsace #riesling #summerwine

First bottle opened in our new home. Dry Alsace Riesling with a touch of sweetness. Nothing earth shattering but went nicely with pork tenderloin. Good value.

Kristen Barnhisel- Surprisingly refreshing! Pale straw color and delicate aromas of pear, apple, honey, and white floral are complemented on the palate with steely minerality, lemon, mid-palate texture, and dry balanced finish. Lovely on its own and better with food.

Pale green color; nose full of fruit; taste is lush fruit, particularly lemon and apple, even pineapple. medium acidity and medium finish; a bit imbalanced toward the fruit end, which gives the sensation of sweetness; a bit frumpy in that respect. Was hoping for a bit more lightness and acidity, especially from this 2014 Alsace.
