Brush, stems and earth. Wilting flowers. Still vibrant fruit. Meatiness veers towards jerky in small windows. Good as ever spot to open. Let it blow off for 20 or so minutes and it plays a tune.

2005 Burgundy. Delicious if still too young. Tart cherries and black tea, mineral notes, dried cranberry. Drink after 2016.

Opened broad and fat but seemed to gain some acidity in the glass. Round red and dark fruit without much structure of complexity. Had much better Bourgogne in my time. Short.

Developing quite nicely/translucent ruby color/earthy, dank, red fruits on the nose/mid weight/flavors of sour cherries, pine, cranberries/good acidity, balance. Nice wine.
