All camphor and smoke. Dusty old cassis and sweet tobacco. A mere whiff of oxidation barely detracted an otherwise profound Napa gem. Past it’s peak but oooooh.

Out of magnum. You can see the trend here. In a perfect place with plenty of time left. Of all the reds this was, for me, showing the best tonight. No way you think it's Napa tasting blind. More Moutonesque as @Jason Chang so rightly professed. Bravo and feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to share this wine.

Tasted blind out of magnum. Very Brickey color fading quickly on this one. Again, most fruit is gone layers of leather,herbs and earth.
