2000 was the second vintage I saw in the US. Came in funky 10 pack wooden boxes, as I recall.
Ruby w a more mature edge to the color. Amazing complexity; iron, mineral, bramble fruits, floral, hints of the ocean/iodine, cassis/minty. Palate is fully integrated and still with life.

Spanish wine night. I've never even heard of this varietal!!! Loads of pepper on the nose this was super cool. My palate is dead so apologies for the lack of any tasting notes beyond a simple "I like it!"

Still drinking really well at 15 years old. Likely hitting its peak now. Nice acidity for its age. Pretty nose. Minerally & graphite with mostly dark fruit (plums & blackberry) and a savory finish.

Quite young and needs to be cellared or lots of time for aeration if unable to wait. I am partial to Bierzo wines and this winery makes the best wines from this region.

Jan 12th, 2018(17/20) Гранатовый цвет. Довольно насыщенный аромат спелых сливы и черешни, банана, ванили, корицы, жареного лесного ореха. Относительно высокая кислотность. Интенсивные, мелкозернистые, похожие на вату танины. Концентрация во вкусе уступает аромату.
