Reserva Legado Maipo Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Currant paste. Ripe and spicy.

Notes of black cherry and cider. Taste of strawberries. Little tannins that were forward that were excellent with steak and chicken and sweet aftertaste.

Medium ruby in color; blackberries, black currants, and charcoal on the nose; high acidity; medium plus tannins; tests like black plums, black cherries, eucalyptus, and wet gravel with a long finish.

Great with fondant du chocolate!

Enjoyed with sous vide london broil and white bean Swiss chard sauté ($19).

Fruit-driven Cab from 20-25 years old vines in Isla de Maipo, just south of Santiago. Fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts, and aged for 12 months in oak barrels. Quite jammy nose with aromas of dark fruit (blackberry, cassis, blackberry gummies), red fruit (strawberry, strawberry jam) and hints of bell pepper and tobacco. Medium-bodied, ripe fruit flavors. Very fresh on the palate. Long, spicy finish

Very traditional Chilean Cabernet. Opaque red color. Aromas of blackberry/currant, violets and green pepper. Big black/red fruit flavors with notes of tobacco, spices, mint and fresh herbs. Medium bodied. Relatively soft tannins and smooth finish.
