This Chardonnay was wild. Never had a chard like this. Such heavy viscosity to it! Since it was tasted blind, someone even asked if it could possibly be a dessert wine. My first and final thought was a Roussanne. So much honey, Meyer lemon, apricot and pineapple. Full bodied and large Chardonnay.

This was photo of Chardonnay. Excellent acid with exquisite complexity and minerality. Most exciting Chardonnay since the one I sipped from Dawn's lips.

2021. Opened while prepping dinner. I figured this big Napa Chardonnay would pair great with the sautéed mushrooms and mushrooms tagliatelle (and it did!), but I was worried about the spicy local ‘Nduja and first farmer’s market asparagus. The wine was great with the pasta. So glad I looked in the discount shopping cart at the grocery store wine shop to see they needed to sell off the last bottle to make some shelf space!
