Had no clue Darioush made a pinot. Their style is represented here with big flavors. I may have guessed zin I it was served to me blind. Jammy and floral, zippy acidity. Sweetened red, blue and black fruit. Sandalwood and potpourri too. If you enjoy big Cali fruit forward pinots that drink like a cab or zin, this is it.

Really don't love this Pinot. More of a fan of their other offerings

Still a fairly youthful, fruit-driven medium weight wine. Cherry, cranberry and cola dominate the palate. Not particularly complex but enjoyable. Finish is a bit more savory with black tea, white pepper and a bell pepper.

Presents beautifully in the glass with a deep red color. Cola and rhubarb on the nose. Ripe notes of strawberry, plum and a little white pepper. Finish is savory and has medium length. It just about finds the middle grounds between being a powerhouse and an elegant wine. By the way, one of the best wineries to visit in all of Napa.

Nutmeg and stewed prunes on the nose. Bright garnet in the glass with fairly pronounced “legs.” Cola and blueberry notes on the palate with a firm, spicy finish. Not a blockbuster but rather a tighter more nuanced wine. It isn’t’ in danger of fading anytime soon but probably at peak right now.

I can imagine how good this will taste in 5 - 10yrs. It is still excellent as a young pinot.

Well made “big” style pinot with loads of cola and rhubarb. A little heat and white pepper on the finish. No sign of fading though I doubt it will evolve much from here. Enjoyable.
