Rich, dense, and complex. Lots of mushroom and wet earth and black tea with loads of cherry and blackberry notes. Lots of life. Will only get better over next 10 years. Absolutely amazing.

I like it but in the same style (and availability), I'll take La Rioja Alta just about every time. This has an abrupt tannic finish that makes me want more refreshing acidity.
