Still very tight but incredibly pure. Not the peach explosion as some other vintages, but very very good with a heavier sashimi plate. Regret that perhaps I have drank this to soon — 3 years ago
Still remember the incredible purity, after drinking it a few days after new years. Lemon curd, brioche, and a little bit of tropical fruit. It opened up as it went along, so the racy acidity level doubt and the mermaid liked it after a bit. Rating below is purely my own — 3 years ago
Excellent concentration with a very pure nose and palate. So young right now, that the red fruit and mushrooms became more pronounced after an hour of decanting. Great pairing with morel mushrooms and scallops — 7 months ago
Great purity and acidity, and a touch of reserved tropical fruit. Who says you have to pair salmon roe with champagne? Works nicely with this — 3 years ago
Great minerality as with a lot of the Charles Ellner vintage champagne, great with oysters, firefly squid, and hamachi. Better after an hour, as the edges are a bit more rounded — 2 years ago
Tasted from a half bottle of nearly a decade and a half of age. Best wine I've had all year. After opening up in 15 minutes it had layers of graphite, red fruit, and an exceptionally long finish. Just wish there were more, but I would hold the full bottles until at least 2028 — 3 years ago

Just as excellent on Mauna Kea at 13,800-ft as it is at the hotel. Deep blue and black fruit notes, great with smoke, long finish and the contrast to the Kronos of the same vintage — a month ago
