My second experience with the wines of Cupano. The first was their 2008 Brunello, a wine I was quite impressed with so I was rather excited to try their RdM from a vintage I’m growing to admire. Ample red and dark fruit with impressive intensity. A dash of baking spices. Fresh, balanced, glossy and yet very authentic. There’s something for everyone here. I really dig this wine and wish I had some in my cellar. Definitely something I need to seek out.

Medium ruby . Ripe red cherry , dried herbs , pine . Quite sweet attack on the palate , round red cherry fruits , ok balancing acidity, fine, ripe but present tannins , just slightly warm finish . Ok length . Good now and over the next 5-10 years

Wow. Gods hint of sweet wood on the palate and finish. Palate a perfect aged Sangiovese. Nose is gorgeous. Hint of chocolate. Forest fruit. Juicy. Juicy. Internal aromatics. Juicy finish.
