The last bottle, so sad but what a treat to enjoy anyway. Smoky and bold but elegant with sustaining super-structure. Just wish we had another case :)

Great version of an '11. I think Steve's style meshes well with cooler years. #IMHO

Steve and Tom pulled out a miracle for this 2011 vintage, a very tough year. Solid wine with good acid balance.

Good density. Red currant and red cherry dominate. A bit one dimensional right now but has the stuffing to last.

We had the 2011 vintage on 4/7/16. This is not Cristom's best effort. 2011 was a cool season and produced wine more peppery than fruity.

This is really impressive. A lot going on here. Cherry and cola initial hit the palate, gracefully giving way to earth and a lot of herbs. An endless finish. Delicate, with terrific balance.
