Mid weight, pure and pretty on the attack. No green, no bitterness on the mid palate. Scratchy tannins and acid on the finish accentuate the need for air or food. Best on day 2.

Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Aromas of mushroom, forest floor, moss and smoke. Red plum/currant/cranberry fruit on the palate with hints of tar, black pepper and tobacco. Large amount of pyrazines on the extremely earthy finish. Plus acidity and medium tannins. Quite tertiary and funky. Better with a decant or on the second day.
