Bright acidity. Red fruit forward, especially on the nose. Energetic. Smooth like stainless steel. Exact.

I liked this wine but I like the Gevrey Chamberton from Domaine Coquard Louson-Fleurot a little more (even though the Chambertin is slightly cheaper!). The Chambertin has slightly cleaner/more pure fruit, in my opinion. SommPicks $57.

Brilliant (relative) value. Classic chambolle. On the richer side but we’ll balanced

Red fruit. Roses. Medium body. Oak is poking through a bit at his point.

Forest like herb aroma makes me happy. Complex and gentle red fruits flavor. Strawberry but not sweet, enough tanning. Spiciness as well. It’s better to taste it without main dish. 2016 @2750, domaine, 210108

Side by side with the Gevrey and Vosne. This was the lightest bodied, most red-fruited and floral. Sweet and tart, very pretty.

Took a little bit to open up. Rose petals and tart cherry on the nose followed by cherry, slight cranberry and a hint of thyme. Nice balance, has a a lot of life.

I must have had a bad bottle. The tannins never smoothed out. Nice nose but the aftertaste was harsh. Opened it two hours before dinner. Very disappointed.
