This takes some time to open up. Once it does, this light-colored gives up delicate scents of cracked stones, mossy forest underbrush, and wild cherry. Lean but flavorful, with lithe flavors of crisp cherry and rock dust. Loads of acids and a bit of fine-grained tannin on the structural side. Will go nicely with the risotto I just finished and is quietly resting for a few minutes!

Gorgeous aromas. Cherry, tar, dense and pure vivid fruit. Sappy and juicy. Very tart cherry and sour cherry fruit but clean sweet and balanced. Lovely sappy finish. Terrific freshness. Great value. Ripe sweet tannin.

Feb 13th, 2018This has got a very distinctive character. The nose features smoky embers and freshly put-up wild strawberry preserves, and stony minerals. Intense, crisp, minerally, with a long and pure finish that echos with fruit and chalky tannin. This is young and will clearly benefit from a few years of cellaring, though it is very nice now.
